Registrations for scholarships for the December cohort of the Accelerate Program have closed.
Applicants:
. Must be female and an Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident/New Migrant and meet at least one of the following criteria:
. Demonstrate financial need.
. Intend to upskill or refresh your skills in finance and economics to help enter, re-enter and achieve leadership roles in the finance industry.
. Intend to undertake one of the following activities: formal education/ career development programs/ internship opportunities/ other work experience programs.
An additional focus will be on applicants demonstrating intersecting sources of disadvantage, including but not limited to, women who:
. Are re-entering the workforce
. Have low socio economic status
. Are mature age or young
. Are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
. Are new migrants
. Are living in rural and remote areas
When you register, this is the process you will need to follow:
Step 1: Register an account with FAAA Scholarships, Grants and Sponsorships.
Step 2: Start application.
1. Select Women in Finance and Economics Scholarship
2. Select thrive4women Accelerate Program Scholarship
3. Input your name
Step 3: Confirm you have met eligibility criteria by ticking the box and select ‘Save + next’.
Step 4: Application: There are three sections to complete:-
1. Applicant Information: Input your full name, address and contact details.
2. Eligibility: Input your gender, age and answer short questions on eligibility.
3. Application Statement: Share how this scholarship will equip you to overcome challenges based on any disadvantages and how this scholarship will assist you in meeting your career objectives.
You will be notified of the outcome of your Scholarship submission by the FAAA by 27th November 2023.

We are very excited to announce this new scholarship which further boosts our efforts to provide professional development and coaching support to female business owners and professionals to help increase the representation and retention of females in the finance industry.
thrive4women would like to acknowledge the generous support of the FAAA with support from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Office for Women.
This scholarship allows for a limited number of fully paid places in the next cohort of the thrive4women Accelerate Program commencing in early December 2023.
Registrations are now open until 11.59pm, 20th November 2023.

You will be notified of the outcome of your Scholarship submission by the FAAA by
27th November 2023.
Successful applicants will then receive program details from thrive4women and will commence the program in early December 2023.
